How I handle your data.

What this site is

This is my personal practice site. It has a contact form, things I've written, and case studies of work I've shipped. It isn't a SaaS product, and there's no company behind it — just me, Ahmed Fayed.

What I collect

Two things, and that's the whole list.

First, contact form submissions: your name, email, message, and when you sent it. That's stored in the site's database and emailed to me. I use it to reply to you, nothing else.

Second, anonymous analytics: page views, where you came from, rough country, device type — through Google Analytics 4. Only if you accept the cookie banner. Never before.

What I don't collect

I don't run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, session replay, or fingerprinting scripts. There are no third-party embeds beyond the analytics above.

Cookies

This site sets cookies only after you accept the banner. Decline and no analytics cookies are set at all. One small cookie remembers your choice so the banner doesn't follow you from page to page.

Third parties

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) handles the anonymous usage analytics, after consent only. Their privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Hostinger hosts the site. Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL — are kept for a limited period for security and debugging. They aren't linked to your identity.

Nothing else is embedded.

How to opt out

Decline the banner and analytics won't load.

Changed your mind after accepting? Use the "Reset cookie choice" link at the bottom of this page, or clear this site's cookies in your browser.

You can also use "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or a content blocker. I honor those by not loading analytics at all — you won't even see the banner.
